Family Fit 2017

Legacy WM has been working in partnership with a number of local primary schools in the Perry Barr District to promote health and well-being. As well as encouraging parents to take part in exercise, we have also been running workshops on health and well-being and produced a ‘Healthy Lifestyle Toolkit’.  As a result of our work, a number of local schools have introduced a ‘Daily Mile’ for all their pupils and are reporting the benefits of it.

Taking part in exercise and physical activity can help in maintaining a healthy weight and improve your health and well-being. Research highlights that people who take part in regular exercise have a lower risk of many chronic diseases.
