Bangla Week kicks off with Wish Wash Time Machine, a theatre production casting 18 young people from Northeast Birmingham. Wish Wash Time Machine is a devised theatre piece, directed by Fateha Begum exploring connections between Birmingham’s diaspora communities from the global south through sharing of past and present migration stories.

Catch the sneak preview of Anil Kaka, a mime show directed and performed by Rezwan Razan, followed by an enchanting kathak performance by dancer and choreographer Atreyee Bhattacharyya and listen to the vocals of Torit Das singing Nesha Tor, an Adhunik Bangla gaan.
