About this event

Today the Lunar Society are well known for their links to the Midlands Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution. Less explored are the group's opinions of, and connections to the transatlantic slave trade. This walking tour explores sites around Handsworth with links to the Lunar Men, and examines their attitudes to slavery. How did the group deal with their differing opinions, and how did their actions help to shape the City that we live in today.
