Exciting news! Legacy WM has been featured in Cohousing UK's Report, with our Director of Operations Dawn Carr as the main lead. Dawn provides insight into our background and future plans for our cohousing project with Housing 21.

Legacy WM are thrilled to unveil the latest additions to our esteemed board: Rachael Thomas, from the prestigious Birmingham Repertory Theatre, and the talented Andrew Donaldson, from Dains Accountants.

Following an inspiring team away day at KPMG, carefully orchestrated by Suni Sekhon from DEFY Brands, both Andrew and Rachael showered us with their uplifting feedback concerning the bright prospects for Legacy WM and the proactive measures that lie ahead for the near future.

Legacy WM are delighted to announce and congratulate our CEO and founder Aftab Rahman on receiving his MBE award for services to Heritage, and to the community in Birmingham.

We hope everyone had a great time! A special shout out to our guest speakers Paulette Hamilton (Labour MP) and Patrick Vernon OBE on their moving speeches.

Legacy WM are excited to announce that our very own Patron, Professor Carl Chinn MBE FRSA F.Birm.Soc. Ph.D., has been newly appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant for the West Midlands.

Legacy WM are honoured to introduce Black British History is British History. The artwork comprises of 3 elements representing the rich chronology of Black British History.

The rear of the piece is a layered history in size order depicting:

A proud moment for Legacy West Midlands being mentioned on BBC Midlands Today alongside our affiliates Black Heritage Walks Network showcasing the importance of Black British History shaping our local communities.

A special shout out to Dawn, Marcia and our newly appointed heritage officer Sian who have done an outstanding job.
