Junna leads Bangla Week, a multi-arts festival presented by BADA, Bangladeshi Artist Development Agency.
Junna is a British Bangladeshi cultural practitioner with extensive experience of developing, commissioning, and producing arts and cultural events and festivals in the UK and internationally. Formerly a policy lead for the Mayor of London’s Culture Strategy, and subsequently seconded to the British Council in China where she led the commission of a China Regional Arts Strategy, she brings significant experience of brokering multi-organisational partnerships.
Currently she is an artistic associate for the Bloomsbury Festival in London, advising on fair and equitable programming. Junna produced ‘Bangladesh 50’ at the British Library in association with the Bangladesh High Commission.
Junna is a trustee at Conway Hall Ethical Society.
