Alison is a solicitor and a Senior Associate with a leading law firm. She has over a decade’s experience of working in the charity sector as a professional. During her studies, she lived in London and then Handsworth when at the University of Law, and has now made Birmingham her adopted home.
Alison found volunteering very rewarding when working with another charity supporting underprivileged primary school children with their mathematics work. She has been inspired by the work of Legacy WM, in particular the heritage strand that shines a light on the rich history and diversity in the city, especially to newcomers to Birmingham.
