“Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Partner in Dains Accountants Limited.
Andrew trained with a Big 4 practice in Birmingham and then went into business acting as Finance Director for an industrial group of companies before returning to professional practice. He regularly appears as an Expert Witness in Court. In parallel with his professional career, he has acted as a Trustee for a number of Charities in
Birmingham, particularly those involved in the Arts, as well as serving on the board of
the Midlands Fraud Forum for thirteen years.
Born in Dudley Road Hospital, educated in Handsworth and having spent most of his career in and around Birmingham, Andrew is passionate about the area, its history and heritage.
Andrew is married to Mel, who is also a Chartered Accountant who works for a charity and has three grown up children.”
