Family Fit

Family Fit is our largest project funded by National Lottery Community fund. It builds on our previous project aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of ethnic minority families within Handsworth and the Lozells area.

Legacy WM worked in partnership with local schools and community groups to;

Expand the number of school children participating in the daily mile
Lower the cost of access to culturally sensitive physical activities, including women only activities
Offer nutritional educational& participatory cooking workshops
Support services for over 55’s
Offer a range of activities aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing
