We are excited to share the incredible news that Legacy West Midlands has been honoured with the esteemed King's Voluntary Award. This recognition highlights our dedication to making a positive impact on our community through volunteer efforts.
The King's Voluntary Award is a renowned acknowledgment, celebrating organisations that demonstrate exceptional commitment and influence in the voluntary sector. This award is a testament to the relentless dedication of our volunteers, supporters, and team members who have selflessly given their time, skills, and passion to various projects and causes championed by Legacy West Midlands.
This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of our volunteers and team, who have dedicated themselves to initiatives that bring about positive change in the lives of those we serve.
In 2010 I was one of the founding members that started Legacy WM as a volunteer and now I've made it to CEO. Over half of our staff started with us as volunteers and we are delighted to see so many new volunteers, in particular our 'Our Legacy' which is a new youth forum led by our young volunteers. Legacy continues to be led by volunteers and their dedication allows us to have a greater impact in the community. – Aftab Rahman (CEO of Legacy WM
